One of the things I like about my iRex Iliad was the notes feature. You can write on the screen, using a set of predefined templates (blank, lines and squares). Now, this made me feel like I was back in school. Handwriting is not my strong point. But it’s kinda cool to do it on a tablet.

So what if I created some of my own templates? That look nice on the Iliad, but also in print? But what should I use them for? Of course, my current Scrum project! Scrum uses “User stories” and “Tasks” as a simple way to describe what to do in a sprint. It mentions some attributes, like who’s working on it, how long will it take, etc.

So, off to the drawing board, sketching some forms (on my Iliad of course) and showing it to colleagues. With some feedback, we came up with these two templates. They’re ready to use on the Iliad Book Edition and Iliad 2nd Edition, I’m not sure how they look on an Iliad 1000-series.

You can find both templates on my flickr stream.
